Yes! I got a phone call today from Dillon, we got to talk for exactly 7 minutes and 3 seconds.

I was totally groggy when I heard my phone ringing this morning I rolled over and grabbed it and saw a number I did not recognize BUT it said “Chicago, Illinois” WELL I only know one person there and it happens to be Dillon.

After he said hello, I asked “Wait… Is this Dillon?” Still groggy and a bit confused since I thought I would not ever get a phone call while he was at boot camp (Considering I TOLD him not to call me, to always call his mom if he was allowed to call anyone.) But he replied with “You don’t even know your own boyfriends voice?” clearly teasing but omg! We chatted a bit, I got ordered to send more letters, he told me some graduation stuff and then after our “I love yous” we hung up.

Hearing his voice was exactly what i needed right now and I feel so much better and centered.
